us and us to the stump

We and we s a o c e p o

'Your boy cuts to eighteen before you're forced to cut a twelve! I would like to advise this almost poet friend Luiz de Tânia on a feat marked there by the parts of the Central Plateau when I was there on my wanderings in flowery May. He was an authentic Brazilian with a rural roots, a gem from Minas Gerais, intelligent and shrewd who liked the right things and that nobody wrapped in a scratched denim cloth. Today I thought of this great and insightful gentleman, God rest his soul! Precisely because he was closely acquainted with the foundation of Brasília, worked on the works and settled there, and the cerrado became his second home and was very proud of his years of arduous but happy toil at the beginning of the Kubitschek era. He saw the new federal capital and the incipient outbursts of power from close up on the dirt floor. So after so long I aged in age but I keep the crockery of empirical vision that I could glimpse in Mr. Luiz de Tânia and God harvested his kind soul in the empiric light for his deserved rest from the hardships of this 'marvado life.' I went back to the cerrado and every now and then I miss that sincere face, that clear sky and those nights of serene moonlight and reddish skies. I sadly think that Brazil could have worked if it had followed its intuition and clothed itself in honor , lightness and vision of Luíz de Tânia. But everything was gone, haphazardly put and we arrived where we arrived without cutting to eighteen and all of us and us embittering a situation of discredit in politics, a splintered corruption of the runways and defaulters of the twelve to cut, oh ha! And in this complex situation, part three, very suffocated this time, a pandemic hit us hard, victimized many people and stifled the dream of more than half a million lives that will no longer be lived in the happy onchego of their homes. And the direction of the nation involving the 3 powers is, the bow is obliterated to the extreme and many wonder: will it be the end of our staggered democracy? Politics, I think, has never taken seriously its country and its people, it just exists, in its majority, hungering for power and money to enjoy everyone's treasury. This truth is wide open when we see people involved in illegal acts and doing everything to cover up their neighbors in some way. And the damage to the honor and coffers of the nation of Brazil is enormous and almost irreversible. Go Cpi, come Cpi what matters is to cause when civic greyhounds don't land in the powerhouses. Party politics have become a burden on society and they are part of it from adventurers in the pay of corruption, with honorable exceptions always. Too expensive to maintain high salaries for parliamentarians and a whole bunch of advisers that we don't really know what it's for? And it's not just me who says it, but the sensible majority of Brazilian society who affirms peremptorily since I understand myself for a long time, laugh! And when they find themselves cornered for some reason, they gather in the streets, sort of manipulating public opinion, sometimes painting their faces, or, or screaming out of this, out of that... And it's terrifying when we see people from culture, from commerce education , of the people uncritically following powerful bikes on one side, and on the other on foot even with banners claiming so many absurd things and the inconsequential return of the old and outdated policy of crooked favors. While most people don't know which saint to turn to more? Once the imminent storm is over, tempers calmed, common sense restored, Brazil, giant by its very nature, will reach the glorious limits of the good and empirical world and bring the auspicious spring and its height of well-being, peace, harmony, abundance and sustainability soil and soul for the good and happiness of its more than 210 million inhabitants. It will be a homeland of fulfilled yearnings, institutional common good, and proven self-determination.
